Back To School Spending - Benefits Of Wearing School Uniforms
71
Winter, Spring or Fall, back to school spending is a constant reminder of the benefits of wearing school uniforms. At least that's what supporters say. Those who oppose mandatory uniforms for kids don't agree. An article written by the Administrator of National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) said that: “Adopting uniforms should be a school-by-school decision”. The statement was made because apparently not everyone is in agreement with making it mandatory for students to enter classrooms wearing school uniforms.
The Back To School Hassle And Expense
From child to care giver, most would agree that preparing to go back to school after a break is a hassle, if not an expense. Crowded parking lots, long lines, cash registers ringing. This is the scene of back to school spending. Parents who finally get through it, happily breathe a sigh of relief. Crowded hallways, longer lines, bells ringing. That’s the scene of students returning to class after months of school vacation. When they finally make it through the day, they breathe a sigh of relief! Learning new faces, mispronouncing names, a sea of children in Polo shirts and Dickies. This is the scene of students returning to class in school uniforms. When teachers makes it through the first week, they’ll breathe a sigh of relief too!
Experience has shown that going back to school following a summer or winter vacation can be an extremely frustrating time. As a Los Angeles based article writer, I provide articles and web content covering a number of child related subjects. That includes the matter of wearing uniforms. Many schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District have mandatory uniform polices. This policy can actually be beneficial in more ways than one.
When it comes to the topic of back-to-school, a major concern centers around finding ways to save. Parents worry about going over their family budget for school clothes and supplies. Students are apprehensive about new classes and fitting in and teachers and staff are concerned about making everything run smoothly. It might make it a little bit harder to recognize new faces in the crowd, but saving on back to school expenses isn’t the only benefit of returning to class in school uniforms. If given the choice of wearing uniforms instead of everyday clothes, it may be a good ideal to give it a whole lot more thought. More On This Topic

The beginning of any new school term can be a hectic time for everyone concerned. Parents, students and educators all have the difficult task of adjusting to new people and surroundings. To help make this time of year go a little smoother, parents and caregivers should try to get back to school shopping out of the way as soon as possible.
Whether purchasing class uniforms or everyday clothing for your child's back to school wardrobe, shopping early will save a lot of headaches and a lot of expense. Why not take advantage of shopping online and having your purchases waiting for you at the store. Going back to school should be an exciting time for young people, no matter what clothes students happen to be wearing.

go to thrift stores!
This makes total sense. The great thing about school uniforms is that girls can't try to compete with each other with who has the latest fashions because well, you're all wearing the same blouse and skirt!
My uniform is a polo shirt, tucked in, with khaki pants and belt. It's too formal - I hate it!

This was a good read. My kids are older now, but I remember when the Elementary School they attended tried having the kids wear uniforms one year. It didn't really work out too well. Didn't even last the year!
