Tea In Different Forms
Tea In Different Forms

A n Era Of Drinking Tea

Congratulations! You’ve finally decided to trade in your morning coffee beans for tea leaves instead. Your body will thank you. Statistically, tea drinkers are healthier than coffee drinkers, especially when they eliminate the caffeine. There are enough tea varieties on the market to make your head swim. But will you stay a tea lover. Is your new love a fad or forever? Time will only tell, but no doubt, once you find a few choice blends that particularly appeal to your taste buds, that hot steamy beverage will become the highlight of your day.

Coffeehouses are no longer filled with the usual junkies that stop for their caffeine fix. People are shying away from java and turning to not just tea, but decaffeinated tea. Maybe it’s because decaf tea is known to lower cholesterol and also prevent tooth decay, heart attacks and strokes. With all those benefits, what’s not to love?

America Loves A Good Cup Of Tea

Here in America, tea lovers drink the beverage day or night hot or cold. The 7-Eleven is open twenty-four hours so you can grab a cold Arizona Tea of any flavor. If you prefer it hot, like most people do, fixings are also available for a steamy cup of Lipton tea, complete with lemon.

A true tea enthusiast will thumb their nose at the average tea drinker. As far as they’re concerned, unsophisticated taste buds wouldn’t recognize an Earl Grey from the Duke of Earl.

I like a good tea cup and have two china ones. Strictly speaking herbal tea is not tea but an infusion as tea is a plant by itself.

I am a tea lover and I have the best tea cups. I have tea cups from S. Korea for my green teas. And a wonderful tea cup from Harrods in London for all my British brown teas.

I cannot ever drink tea from a mug - it just doesn't taste right.

Nice hub with a different tea perspective - the cup!

@ Bob - Thanks for the heads up on the "herbal tea" blurb. Also, it's nice to see a guy who can appreciate a good cup of tea.

@BkCreative - I wonder if drinking British tea from the London tea cup effects the flavor, more so than drinking it from, say, from a China tea cup, or is it purely a visual thing? Anybody have any ideal?
